Hannah Bension
Paralegal & Executive Assistant
Hannah joined Chinitz Law in June 2024 as a Paralegal and Executive Assistant to Michael. In her role, she conducts legal research, aids in the drafting of legal documents, handles client intake, and contributes to the firm’s website by writing about recent
developments in employment law. She also serves as a point of contact for all
of the firm’s clients to assemble key documents, set appointments, and to
generally be available as a resource for our clients’ logistical inquiries. She works on site in the office and attends many client interviews to take detailed notes for file memos.
Hannah’s interest in law was ignited early on in her academic career, as she studied the impact of ancient legal systems—such as Roman law and the Code of Hammurabi—on democracy as we know it today. She plans to attend law school in the near future with the goal of becoming a practicing attorney.
She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a double major in history and political science. While at UMass, she participated in an International Law seminar and studied abroad at the University of Oxford.
Born and raised in Boston, Hannah enjoys exploring and revisiting the city’s vibrant historical and cultural sites. She also loves brunching with friends, traveling, and spending time with her golden retriever, Luke (pictured below).
